The DNA Special: Osoto Gari To Armbar!

One technique that is becoming more and more prevalent in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitions from students that train at Team DNA BJJ in Whitby is the Osoto Gari to armbar combination. This is one of my Professor Dainis' favorite techniques that he is well known for. He was inspired by the Camarillo Brothers as a blue belt and this technique is one of the many ways he integrates his Judo into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This technique has been successfully applied at the highest levels of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition by DNA BJJ students young and old, from white to black belt. Master this technique and you will have the ability to quickly defeat your opponent before they realize what hit them. Check out the competition examples and instructional videos below.
